I'm still shaking

mystisblomI just had a bike to person collison with a six year old girl.
I just couldn't see her when I was biking on the street. I did everything right, I had light, I biked slowly but that girl was just too fast when she came out from between two cars. She didn't look and just ran to her friends who where already on the other side.
It seems that they where trick or treating, and the little girls costume was all black. I also think that it's total bullshit to let your 6 yo kid go trick or treating without adult supervision expt an older sibling who isn't older then 15.
God I'm still shaking and when I was home I saw that my front weel is now kinda 8ish, but wouldn't it be sucky to call them tomorrow and say, 'Hey I was in an accident with your kid and please pay for my bike'. I really don't know what to do... I think I'm gona throw up!
The kid was fine btw.
