Joss Whedon breaks up with 20th Century Fox
Variety wrote that Joss Whedon endet the contract with 20the Century Fox. That means means the end of Whedons production firm Mutand Enemy that came up with hits like Buffy and Angel.
Whedon said, it's because he dosn't have any ideas for new tv shows and that right now cinema is more importend for him.
“I spent a lot of time trying to think what my next series would be,” Whedon said. “I couldn’t think of anything. When that happens, it generally means something is just not working. I didn’t feel like I could come up with anything that the networks would want.”
I have a bitter taste in my mouth with where TV has gone in the past five years,” said Whedon, who called TV’s reality trend “loathsome.”
RIP Tru Calling!
There are more and more rumors that FOX really cancelt Tru Calling.
After cutting the second season to only 6 episodes, now Eliza Dushku and Shawn Reaves said that the series is officially cancelt.
Now the only hope it seems is that the first season will be a hit on DVD and they give us the second season on DVD too.
