I'm stupid!

Thank you is the most stupid answer ever and I think I use it very often. Am I right?

5 minutes ago my cute wonderful talented single guy from across the stairs gave me a letter that was in his letter-box (it was the latest telephone bill) and I was just smiling stupidly and said "Thank you" *another stupid smile - close the door* instead of "Thank you, wana come in for a little drink/cookie/sex?" *sigh*

Life isn't fair when you're not on the bright side *hangs head*

This can be easily fixed. Leave. Not right now. A few minutes, a few hours. Go to the store. Buy something sweet. Or even bake it! (Then you don't have to leave.) If you had left, come back now. If you didn't, wait until the seeet thing is done baking. Go across stairs. Knock on door, ask cute single guy if he would like of some said sweet thing, say something along the lines of "Just wanted to thank you again for bringing my mail over. Hey, I made "sweet thing" and was wondering if you'd like some?"

Okay, it sounds far fetched, and a little much for just some fellow returning your mail, but if you can come up with a better excuse to knock on his door, then do that.

Thats a great idea but their is one little problem, I'm shy as hell and there is the possiblety that when I knock, I'd drop dead with my face in the cake.
