TIP!!

I've got a little tip to read for you.
It's an awsome article about "slashing the slasher" and it has blown me away while I was reading.
I was thinking about myself and that it's totaly true. Fran and I where discussing it for a while, and both of us came to the same result.
It's the truth!
When you write slash you probably should read this.

My thoughts about: SLASH FANARTS

After reading hesychasm`s entry again, I thought about Slash and fanart, because thats the other two things in fandome I'm involved in besides fanfic.
I where allways wondering about the fact that there is so much more femslash than maleslash (only my opinion).
When it comes to fanfiction there are thousends and thousends of male/male fanfiction (accept buffy and some other fandomes) but when it comes to fanart there are more f/f arts than m/m.
There are some, especially in some fandomes like Without a trace or X-files, but when you see "The OC" for example. There are a lot of m/m fanfics and just a handful of f/f but you'll find mostly f/f fanarts.
Is it because of the Pictures, because there are more female pics? I dont think so because there as much Seth+Ryan pics as Summer+Marissa.
So whats the reason?
